The Akhiyar Khakimov Museum was opened in 2005 and until 2006 was a branch of the National Literary Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The museum houses more than 1,600 exhibits, including books, personal belongings, manuscripts, documents, and photo, audio and video materials. The exhibition recreates the interior of the writer's study. The museum hosts memorial evenings, literary meetings and competitions. There is also a room dedicated to the well-known writer and teacher Rasima Uraksina, a native of the Davlekanovsky District. The Akhiyar Khakimov Museum allows visitors to learn about the life and work of the outstanding Bashkir writer.
