Muromtsevsky Local History Museum
About museum
Muromtsevsky Museum was established in 1985.
The items of the exhibition complex reveal the rich material and spiritual culture of the ancient and modern history of the district. The archaeological exhibition covers the period from the Late Neolithic to the 18th century AD. The museum is especially important for those interested in the history of settlement, the folk culture of the Irtysh River region, and the natural environment of the area. The collection holds more than 15,000 items, including a unique paleontological collection.
The museum cooperates with the district's educational institutions, travel agencies, travel clubs and local historians.
Four specialists work at the institution.
