About museum

1995 marked the 100th anniversary of S. A. Yesenin's birth. In honor of this event, the first museum dedicated to the poet was opened in Zamoskvorechye. The site became a state museum in 1996, attracting the attention of numerous admirers of S. A. Yesenin. The centerpiece of the museum's exhibition is the memorial room of the poet and his father. The exhibition traces the poet's entire life path and also presents the work of other well-known figures. In the future, it is planned to create a cultural and educational center dedicated to S. A. Yesenin, where various projects attracting the poet's many fans will be held.
