K. V. Ivanov Memorial House-Museum
About museum
On November 29, 1940, his literary house-museum was opened in K. V. Ivanov's native home in the village of Slakbash. The museum's founder was P. N. Kudryashov. In 1991 a monument to the poet was erected, and at the end of May Poetry Days are held. The museum offers visitors many exhibits: the poet's personal belongings, wooden crafts, paintings, photographs and documents. Ethnographic materials and the cultural assets of local residents have also been preserved. Festivals are held at the museum that attract admirers of K. Ivanov's talent.
