About museum

The museum's collection comprises 5,800 items, including ethnographic objects, coins, decorative and applied arts, documents and photographic materials. To provide broader access to the museum's collections, work is being carried out to create an electronic General Catalog of the Omsk Region. Throughout the year the museum holds more than 30 exhibitions, using its own collections as well as those of other museums and traveling exhibitions. In addition, the museum organizes various public events, including educational and interactive programs for children, competitions, festivals and other events dedicated to veterans and distinguished individuals.
