About museum
In 1977 a local history museum was founded by decision of the district executive committee. The founder and first director of the museum was Zaynetdin Gainitdinovich, a history teacher, local historian and participant in the Great Patriotic War. In 2012 the museum was given his name. The museum's collection consists of more than 3,000 storage units, including household items of Tatars and Bashkirs, national clothing, musical instruments, agricultural implements, weapons, photographs, letters, numismatics, books in Arabic and other documents. The museum has permanent exhibition halls and regularly hosts travelling photo exhibitions. About 4,000 people visit the museum annually. A women's club "Garmoniya" (Harmony) operates next to the museum.
