Oktyabrsky District Local History Museum

\r\nThe Oktyabrsky District Local History Museum was founded in 2014; in 2017 it was given the two-story building of the former SKZhD Junction Hospital. The building is currently undergoing major renovation. The museum's collection consists of 1,750 items, which are regularly supplemented by local residents. Despite the ongoing work, the museum holds exhibitions and carries out cultural and educational activities, introducing visitors to the history of the Oktyabrsky District, local heroes, post-war reconstruction and the district's labor achievements. The museum also conducts video lectures, round tables and meetings with interesting people, which raise the cultural life of the district. It is not only a guardian of historical heritage but also a center organizing local history activities in the Oktyabrsky District.
