The local history museum presents the history of the district from ancient times to the present day. It has several halls dedicated to different eras. At the beginning of the tour visitors can view the historical and archaeological exhibition, which showcases the history of the region's development. Here you can also find ancient tools, weapons, pottery and clothing of ancient peoples. The museum houses works of art, men's and women's clothing, as well as information about people who brought fame to the district. In 2015 a branch of the museum was opened in the village of Akbure, and in 2021 — the hall of military glory "Memory Stronger Than Time", which displays photos and personal belongings of participants in combat operations of the Great Patriotic War, in the Republic of Afghanistan, and in Chechnya. The museum hosts public outreach events dedicated to the history of the village and the district.
