Since May 9, 2020, MBUK 'EGKM' has been operating with a structural subdivision that includes the Local History Museum, the Museum of Military Glory, a Cultural Information Center (KIC) and a Tourist Information Center (TIC). It is located in the former building of the Yelets branch of the State Bank, built in 1914 in the central part of the city and is an object of cultural heritage of regional significance. The museum has exhibition spaces: the '900 Years of Service to the Fatherland' hall, the multi-purpose ('transformer') hall 'Not Everything About the War Has Been Written', a temporary exhibition hall and a military film chronicle hall. The museum's collections are constantly being replenished, which will make it possible to expand the exhibition spaces in the future.
