Local History Museum of the Municipal Center of History and Culture of the Chagodoshchensky District
About museum
One of the newest museums in the Chagodoshchensky District is the municipal institution "Chagodoshchensky Museum of History and Folk Culture", which was opened in January 1994. Until 2005 it was part of the Center of History and Culture, but then became an independent enterprise. It houses seven permanent exhibitions dedicated to the history of the Chagodoshchensky land, and also hosts exhibitions, guided tours and theatrical performances. The museum also has an exhibition hall featuring historical, cultural-ethnographic and art exhibitions.
