Historical and Local Lore Department of the Central District Library

Since 2003 this building has housed the Historical and Local Lore Department, which adheres to the principle of taking into account the interests and needs of the population. It permanently presents sections on local lore and history, documents, objects, photographs and more. In addition, traveling exhibitions of folk art and the works of amateur and professional craftsmen, as well as collectors' meetings, are held. Visitors can attend master classes on studying traditional crafts and old trades, as well as on making and painting clay pottery. Actively cooperating with summer recreation camps, the Historical and Local Lore Department draws visitors' attention with its interesting offerings.
