Exhibition 'Nekrasov Cossacks of Stavropol: History and Modernity'

About museum

One of the buildings of the Stavropol Regional Museum of Fine Arts is located in the historic part of the city. It is housed in an old merchant's mansion that is of regional cultural significance. The museum building presents the permanent exhibition 'Nekrasov Cossacks of Stavropol: History and Modernity', which was opened in 2017 to mark the 55th anniversary of the return of the Nekrasov Cossacks to their homeland. In addition, temporary exhibitions of various types are held here: collection-based, traveling, artist and solo exhibitions. The museum building is also used to host cultural events that are of particular importance to the life of the city.
