Children's Museum of Cherepovets
About museum
An introduction to the unusual Children's World Museum in Cherepovets will be interesting not only for children but also for adults. Here you can soak up the atmosphere of different generations — from antiquity to the end of the 20th century. The exhibits include clay, wooden, and patchwork toys, dolls, books, Christmas tree ornaments, as well as items from the Soviet era. In the museum's mezzanine visitors can see the exhibition 'A Bit of Everything, or the Riddles of the Museum Mezzanine', which is dedicated to the work of the well-known artist Elizaveta Byom. The museum also runs classes for children as part of the 'Museum for Children' program, which differ from a regular tour and are informational and hands-on. Children can solve riddles, recite poems, mold from clay and salt dough, paint, and watch puppet shows. The museum also works with children with disabilities, helping to make their visit comfortable and engaging.
