On the picturesque shore of Lake Udomlya stands the house of the well-known Russian landscape painter Vitold Kaetanovich Byalynitsky-Birulya, built in 1913 in the Art Nouveau style. It hosts permanent art and memorial exhibitions dedicated to V.K. Byalynitsky-Birulya and other artists associated with the region, as well as works by artists from Tver, Moscow and St. Petersburg. The center offers guided tours, lectures, museum lessons, celebrations, concerts, plein-air painting sessions, mass and special events, and annual February conferences dedicated to V.K. Byalynitsky-Birulya. Children's folk craft studios also operate here.
