Creative Industries Center "Kheb-Hab"
About museum
Creative Industries Center "Kheb-Hab" was established in 2021 by a team of community activists and the project office "Bargudzhin Tokum" to develop creative professions and the creative industries in the Republic of Buryatia. The center has a large exhibition space of 500 sq. m, as well as studios for art residents: painters, ceramists, architects, and jewelers; a school of traditional Mongolian calligraphy (mongol besheg); a social media marketing agency; a photo studio; a paint studio; and a yoga studio. The exhibition space is dedicated to visual and other creative multidisciplinary activities. It has hosted major events such as Hungary Days in Buryatia; the Third International Festival of Design, Calligraphy and Book Publishing "Yzegéy Shunal — Tipomania in Buryatia"; the First International Festival of Book Illustration and Visual Literature "MORS– UU!"; as well as smaller activities, garage sales, mini-concerts by musicians and DJ parties, book fairs and sales, meet-and-greet evenings for informal groups, and masterclasses and workshops.
