Local History Center "Kraeved", Batetsky settlement

\r\nOn May 6, 2000, the "Kraeved" Center was opened in the settlement of Batetsky with an initial three exhibitions. Today it presents more than ten types of exhibitions that attract visitors' attention. In the first hall you can see examples of folk art, decorative and applied arts, as well as exhibits of peasant household life. The same hall houses samovars, birch-bark boxes, spinning wheels, handwoven rugs, tablecloths, and embroidered towels. The center also has a souvenir shop selling items made by the craftswomen of the Batetsky region. The Hall of Military Glory features an exhibition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. In the third hall you can view a display of paintings by the local artist Vladimir Yegorovich Malyshev, including landscapes, portraits, and wooden sculptures.
