About museum

Matisse Club is an art space in Saint Petersburg dedicated to the unofficial and informal art of Leningrad and Saint Petersburg from the 1940s to the 1990s. The gallery features works by well-known 20th- and 21st-century artists, including Oleg Grigoriev, Konstantin Simun, Lev Smorgon, Nikolai Kopeikin, and others. The space also hosts workshops by local and international artists in painting, drawing, and printmaking. On weekends, the gallery holds film screenings.
