Khaminov Merchants' House

There is an architectural monument in the region that is of great importance. The Khaminov Merchants' House has two storeys. The first floor houses an exhibition complex that includes both temporary and permanent exhibitions. The permanent exhibition displays a family tree, pieces of furniture and interior items from the 18th–19th centuries, and photographs of family members. Visitors can also see the "Small-Goods Shop" with a variety of everyday items used at that time. The house also has a permanent exhibition dedicated to the traditional costume of the Solvychegodsk uyezd, featuring examples of folk clothing and urban dress, a collection of headwear, samples of patterned weaving and embroidery, and goldwork. The second floor is occupied by the museum administration and library.
