Botlikh Local History Museum

About museum

On April 1, 2021, in the village of Botlikh, the Historical and Local History Museum was opened, becoming the cultural center of the district. Various events of different levels and formats are held here, attracting audiences of different ages. The museum features more than 250 exhibits dedicated to local history, archaeology, and the military glory of the district. It houses objects of local everyday life as well as geological finds discovered in the Botlikh district. In a short time the museum was visited by more than 700 people, including 1000 children from 34 schools and 16 kindergartens, as well as students and teachers from other districts of the republic, and tourists who were pleasantly surprised that such a modern museum is located in a remote mountainous area.
