Bolsheukovsky District Historical and Local Lore Museum
About museum
Permanent exhibitions, festive events, local history excursions and workshops are held at the museum. Roman Mikhailovich Shirokov is the founder of the Bolsheukovsky District Historical and Local Lore Museum. In 1991 a wooden one-story building in the center of the village was allocated, and the number of items in the main collection amounts to 3,866 storage units, while the scientific and auxiliary collection contains 878. The museum houses collections of ethnography, numismatics, painting, applied arts, and historical documents related to the Moscow–Siberian Tract and the settlement and development of the northern Omsk Priirtyshye. The museum hosts permanent exhibitions, festive events, local history excursions, and workshops. Thus, the museum provides residents and visitors with the opportunity to study the history and culture of the region.
