Batyrevsky Historical and Ethnographic Museum 'Bread' is an integral part of the attractions of Batyrevsky District of the Chuvash Republic. It was opened on September 1, 1994 and offers visitors many exhibition sections: a pre-revolutionary department, a department of Tatar and Chuvash ethnography, a contemporary department, a section about notable people of the district, and a section dedicated to participants of the Great Patriotic War. The museum's collection includes agricultural implements, Chuvash and Tatar costumes, and photographs of notable local figures. Various events, exhibitions and competitions are also held here, and lessons for schoolchildren are conducted on the history and culture of the native region, the Chuvash language, and technologies.
