Khvalynsk is famed for its historic architecture, and the surroundings of the town for their majestic hills, boundless spaces and proximity to the Volga. Over years of friendship with the town, Maltseva has captured in her works the most hidden corners and vantage points of the town, so her paintings can be considered a colorful guide to Khvalynsk and its environs.
