Museum Owlery

At the V.R. Williams Soil and Agronomy Museum, a pre-New Year exhibition 'Museum Owlery' has opened. It was created solely to delight visitors to the museum; it is not intended to be scientific or deeply meaningful. It's just a small part of a personal collection from Williams's little house that has temporarily moved into the museum.

In the cold of December, when daylight hours are short and the anticipation of the New Year can be, at times, agonizing, one wants to cheer oneself with something bright, emotional, and warm. Owl figurines made from a wide variety of materials, arriving from distant parts of the world, are very pleasing to the eye and lift the spirits. Come and see for yourself.
