Museum of Military Uniform
About museum
In December 2019, the Museum of Military Uniform was opened in central Moscow — a unique project of the Russian Military-Historical Society aimed at preserving and popularizing the best traditions of Russian military service. It is located in the Vasilchikov Estate on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, which has the status of a federal cultural heritage site. The museum features three permanent exhibitions: 'A Uniform for the Hero', 'We Have Something to Be Proud Of!' and 'Vasilchikov Estate'. In April 2021 the museum opened a Music Parlor, and in December — a 'Children's Museum'. It offers an accessible and engaging way to tell children of all ages about the history of military uniform. The museum participates in the Pushkin Card and Moskvyonok programs.

\r\nThe Museum of Military Uniform of the Russian Military-Historical Society acquaints the public with the history of the Russian armed forces through visualizations of heroes and battles, and tells the story of the army's development and the interconnection between military art and uniformed clothing. The museum's permanent exhibition, temporary shows and tours are largely aimed at the youngest visitors: the halls are filled with interactive modules, touch panels and binocular viewers. In a playful manner, using modern technologies, children study the most important events in our country's history.
