On May 1, 2022, the first Museum of Brides will open in Russia. Visitors will follow the history of brides in Russia, from the tsarist era to the present day. They will see how folk customs have changed and how they have been preserved over the centuries. The younger generation can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of fascinating wedding rites through interactive modules, as well as take part in quests, master classes, and theatrical reenactments. The museum draws the attention of young people and adults to the study and popularization of folk traditions, helps to remember and preserve rituals, and supports the habit of passing family traditions down from generation to generation. The exhibition features historical documents related to wedding ceremonies, as well as bridal outfits, historical information about famous brides, and a photo album that every visitor can contribute to.
