Visiting a museum for younger schoolchildren is an opportunity to soak up new knowledge about famous writers and their works. However, little fidgets find it difficult to sit through a traditional lecture or guided tour. On the quest-tour 'Journey with the Classics' at the Penza Literary Museum, specialists from the cultural and educational department tell, in a playful way, about the museum collection and the great Russian writers whose lives are closely connected with the Penza region.\r\n
In one hall, pupils discover fashionable 19th-century parlor games and, with great interest, try writing with a pen and ink. In another, they look for mysterious little boats and trace the route of the legendary icebreaker across the Arctic Ocean.
