New program by the contemporary music ensemble M.PATERSWAENSEMBLE, presenting an original view of life in Moscow, the heart of Russia through the ages, through the prism of music in a minimalist style. The concert will feature instrumental works (piano, electronics, electric guitar, percussion, strings, trumpet, etc.) accompanied by a video installation, as well as spoken word.
The ensemble has existed since 2019. It includes performers on various musical instruments (piano, synthesizers, marimba, vibraphone, electric guitar, violin, cello, double bass, etc.), students and graduates of the country's leading music institutions, and laureates of international competitions.
The ensemble performs original music that represents a new stage in the development of minimalism, which has absorbed elements of jazz and rock. The ensemble has repeatedly performed on the stages of the Large and Small Halls of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, at the Tsaritsyno Museum, the 'Khlebzavod' art space, the DOM cultural center, and has participated in the 'Creative Youth of the Moscow Conservatory' and 'Music of the Brush' festivals in collaboration with artists from the S.G. Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Industrial and Applied Arts. The ensemble has several studio recordings and has also released the album 'Ostinato'.
Ivan Mironyuk – founder of M.PATERSWAENSEMBLE, pianist, composer. A graduate of the Composition Faculty of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, laureate of international competitions.
