Once again the A.I. Kuprin Museum delighted guests with the amazing immersive excursion 'The Kuprins' Family Hearth' as part of a gastronomic journey to the writer's homeland.
Visitors were able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Alexander Ivanovich's family life, learn more about his childhood, youth, and the traditions that shaped his worldview.
'Mother Lyubov Alekseevna' told of the warm and cozy family nest of the Kuprins in Narovchat, where love, harmony and mutual understanding reigned. These stories filled the meeting with a special spirit of the era and familial warmth.
In the 'Narovchat Parlor' visitors felt the atmosphere of a cozy middle-class home of the 19th century. Here, among household items and the traditions of that time, guests could feel like part of the Kuprin family and better understand their values.
Special attention was paid to the period of the writer's life in Gatchina. Guests were told about how happily Alexander Ivanovich lived and created there, and about his family life with Elizaveta Moritsevna Kuprina.
At the end of the program each visitor formed their own impression of the Kuprins' family values. Museum guests were able not only to learn more about Kuprin, but also to reflect on their own traditions and values.
