About museum

International Arts Center "Main Avenue" is a contemporary art space for exhibitions, concerts, lectures and other cultural events. Today Main Avenue showcases a variety of art forms — from visual arts to music and theatre. The International Arts Center seeks dialogue between different cultural and scientific spheres and engages with the history of Yekaterinburg. The Main Avenue building belonged to a refining plant, one of whose earliest buildings was erected in 1916. Today that building is an architectural monument housing a range of exhibitions. The rotating exhibitions of the art gallery occupy two floors. Another floor is devoted to the permanent exhibition of the Stone Museum and the Antonov Stonecutters' House.
