Exhibition "No Name, Only the Rank of a Soldier!"
About exhibition
The exhibition tells the story of the creation of the "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier" — the country’s main military memorial, symbolizing the memory of all participants of the Great Patriotic War. In the Belgorod region there are hundreds of mass graves where both known and unnamed heroes rest. Museum items from the collections recount the martial feats of the defenders of the Motherland who died in the battles for Belgorod, and introduce the activities of members of the local search movement, who continue to find artifacts from the bloodiest war in human history and to establish the names of those who fell in fierce fighting.
