Zianchurinsky Local History Museum
About museum
The museum was opened in 1989 and currently consists of five halls. In the 'Nature of the Region' hall you can see taxidermy of birds, fish and animals skillfully made by the local taxidermist K. S. Yanbaev. This hall also displays a mammoth tusk and teeth, a relief map of the district, stone samples, photo panels and a mini-panorama. The 'History of the Zianchurinsky District' hall presents the development of the district, exhibits of everyday life and kitchen utensils of the Bashkir district. The 'Hall of Military Glory' contains materials from the Civil War to the present, as well as weapons, photographs and letters of participants of the Great Patriotic War (World War II). The 'Everyday Life and Utensils of the Peoples' hall exhibits traditional ethnographic items of the Bashkir people. In the 'Folk Decorative and Applied Arts' hall you can see souvenirs and art objects, as well as musical instruments. The museum's exhibits are a valuable tool for educating children and adolescents.
