Exhibition Hall of the Veliky Ustyug State Museum-Reserve
About museum
The museum's exhibition hall is located in the Vlasiyevskaya (Epiphany) Church, built in 1687–1689, and its layout has remained almost unchanged to this day. The modest architecture creates an intimate atmosphere. Two windows with Ustyug-style wooden window trims on the southern side of the church complement this image. The Veliky Ustyug State Museum-Reserve hosts more than 25 exhibitions each year. They feature works by Ustyug and Russian artists, as well as traveling exhibitions drawn from the collections of museums across the country. During the winter tourist season, performances titled "The Radiance of the Christmas Star" are held in the Church of the Epiphany.
