About museum

Not many people have the opportunity to visit Kanozero in person and see the petroglyphs. Therefore, in 2012 an exhibition hall was opened in the village of Umba, where reproductions of the rock carvings are on permanent display. The hall also hosts temporary thematic exhibitions. Visitors are offered guided tours, as well as various events, meetings, workshops and lectures.
