About museum

In 1984 the museum's exhibition hall was opened on the initiative of members of the public association "Yenisei". It was divided into two halls, which regularly hosted temporary exhibitions of fine and decorative-applied arts, sculpture, and photography. Exhibits for the exhibitions were taken from the museum's collections, as well as from artists' and private collections, the collections of other museums and other organizations. The hall hosts events of various kinds: guided tours, master classes, creative meetings with artists and craftsmen, literary and musical evenings. It also hosts nationwide events such as "Night of Museums" and "Night of the Arts", as well as regional (krai) stages of the competitions "Rus' Masterovaya" and "Masters of Krasnoyarsk".
