About museum

The State Museum and Exhibition Center 'ROSIZO' develops and implements exhibition projects in cooperation with leading museums and cultural institutions. The organization performs all museum functions, including storage, research, restoration, and the public display of museum objects and collections. ROSIZO's goal is to draw attention to Russia's artistic heritage and contemporary art. The exhibition halls are located in the historic Turgenev-Botkin estate on Petroverigsky Lane. A variety of events are held here, including exhibitions, lectures, tours, master classes, and film screenings. In 2017 the Turgenev-Botkin estate received the Moscow Government's 'Moscow Restoration' award for the best restoration/adaptation project and the best organization of repair and restoration works. The estate was built in the 18th century and was visited by famous figures in Russian history.
