Russia's oldest Pushkin museum. Traces its history back to the poet's first museum, opened at the Imperial Alexander Lyceum on October 19, 1879.
Today it comprises six museums, making it one of the largest literary-memorial museum complexes in Europe. In 1997, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, it was designated as an especially valuable object of Russia's cultural heritage.
The All-Russian A.S. Pushkin Museum is a unique museum complex,
which consists of six museums:

• Memorial Apartment Museum of A. S. Pushkin
• Memorial Lyceum Museum
• Memorial Dacha Museum of A. S. Pushkin
• Memorial Apartment Museum of N. A. Nekrasov
• Estate Museum of G. R. Derzhavin.
