The Trubchevsky Museum is one of the most important cultural institutions. It was founded in 1919 by Georgy Mikhailovich Porshnyakov, a local nobleman and forestry scientist. He conducted archaeological research in the area and collected paleontological finds and works of folk art. The museum currently has 7 halls with permanent exhibitions and 1 exhibition hall. The core of the collections is archaeological finds, which make up more than 30% of the total number of exhibits. Among the museum's unique exhibits is an Antes hoard from the 8th century. The museum is also combined with a planetarium, and various events, promotions and exhibitions are held for visitors.
