School history and local lore museum, Novy Koshkul village
About museum
In the village of Novy Koshkul, thanks to the efforts of the principal and teachers, a museum was opened that contains documentary materials, archival data, and recollections about the process of the village's formation, the region's nature, and its socio-economic and cultural development. Novy Koshkul was founded in 1929 as part of the Georgievsky state farm, and on April 5, 1932 became the central homestead of the new Koshkulsky state farm. In Turkic, the village's name means "between two lakes." It included the villages of Bugrovaya, Pokrovka, and Stary Koshkul, the rural localities Stary Konkul and Novy Konkul, and the settlement Pervomaysky.
