Satka City Museum and Exhibition Center

In the Satka City Museum and Exhibition Center, exhibitions feature works by well-known painters and other figures of the arts. The museum's total area is 553 sq. m., including an exhibition area of 315 sq. m. Twenty-eight sq. m. are allocated for collection storage. The exhibition is located on two floors and has two departments: natural history and history. The natural history department presents collections of natural specimens from the city's surroundings, minerals, taxidermied birds, archaeological and paleontological finds, and a herbarium of plants of the Satkinsky district. The history department displays collections of publications from the 17th–19th centuries, clocks and Russian samovars from the 13th–19th centuries, as well as interiors of a craftsman's hut and the dwelling of a prosperous townsman from the late 19th–early 20th centuries, rooms furnished in the style of the 1950s–60s.
