Sayansky Local History Museum
About museum
The main purpose of the Sayansky Local History Museum is to collect and protect the historical and cultural heritage of Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Sayansky District, as well as to study and disseminate this heritage through various channels of communication. The museum also seeks to instill patriotism in citizens by demonstrating the continuity of generations, traditions and spiritual values, and by promoting the development of intercultural ties. It was established in 1998 on the basis of the House of Pioneers, where Valentina Aleksandrovna Antipova led a local history club. The museum's holdings include more than three thousand exhibits and collections, and it has permanent exhibitions: a peasant life hall, a nature hall and a military glory hall. The museum offers a wide range of services such as museum lessons, lectures, guided tours, route tours, etc. It serves as a center for leisure, creative interaction, and as a methodological and project center, providing people with the opportunity to encounter museum objects and broaden their sensory experience.
