Cheremkhovsky District Local History Museum
About museum
The museum opened on May 6, 2005, and consists of four halls. Two of them are dedicated to the historical and local-history exhibition that tells how the Cheremkhovsky District was settled and what changes occurred from the 9th to the 20th centuries. Other exhibition halls host thematic exhibitions of various kinds.

\r\nThe museum is a bridge between past and future life, a bearer of genuine culture and humanity's achievements. It is not simply a repository of valuable rarities, but a modern cultural institution that supports contemporary means of communication, where presentation projects, literary evenings, and meetings with interesting people are held.
