Pskov Kremlin is a historic site located on a limestone cape at the confluence of two rivers — the Pskova and the Velikaya. According to legend, Princess Olga founded the city of Pskov in 903 and commissioned the construction of the first wooden church in the name of the Holy Trinity. In 2014, the ensemble of the Pskov Kremlin became part of the Pskov Museum-Reserve. On its grounds is Dovmont's Town — an open-air archaeological museum that began to take shape from the late 13th century. Here you can see the Vlasyev Tower with an observation platform in the attic and the Prikaznaya Chamber (17th century). The Prikaznaya Chamber houses a permanent exhibition as well as an information center where you can book tours and interactive programs. The Pskov Kremlin is a historic site that remains filled with an atmosphere of mystery and enigma.
