Eldar Ryazanov Museum
About museum
On May 19, 2018, a museum was opened in the house at 120 Frunze Street, where Eldar Ryazanov lived during his Kuibyshev years. At the beginning of the museum journey, visitors immerse themselves in the history of the city, the country, and the war that the young Ryazanov witnessed. The heart of the museum is the room in which he spent the first days of his life and lived during the war. In the "Visiting Ryazanov" hall you can feel the mood of the creative process and also see Eldar Alexandrovich's personal belongings: sketches for films, paintings, glasses, autographs, film scripts, armchairs, a sofa, a round table, a blanket, and other items. All of this creates an atmosphere of creative coziness, allowing for a fuller and more comprehensive understanding of the life of the great director.
