Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin Park
About museum
In the center of the village on Lenin Street is the A. S. Pushkin Park of Culture and Recreation, owned by MAUK "KSC of the Shegarsky District." The park includes several areas: a children's play complex with equipped play zones for children with disabilities, a stage for large events, a relaxation area with benches and a bust of the poet, and a patriotic zone with the Stone of Sorrow and a memorial plaque. In addition, the park features a stage and a birch grove, which are regularly maintained by residents of the district center. Every year on April 26, rallies are held at the Stone of Sorrow in memory of fellow villagers affected by Chernobyl and in memory of the liquidators who died as a result of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The park hosts mass events and patriotic actions in honor of fellow villagers who died in Afghanistan and other local conflicts.
