Park 'Fabrichny Pond' is located in the very center of the city between the Cotton-Spinning Factory and the Machine-Building Research and Production Association 'Mashinostroyeniye'. Mentions of the pond date back to the late 19th century. In 2016, the head of the city, Sergey Gennadievich Yurov, decided to revive the pond and carry out a comprehensive reconstruction of the area. Today you can find bike paths, lighting, sports and children's playgrounds, as well as a concert area with a stage on the water. Various events are held in the park, and the hashtag #фабричныйпруд has become very popular among local residents and visitors to the city.
