Orekhovo-Zuyevo City Exhibition Hall
About museum
Orekhovo-Zuyevo's city exhibition hall in the Moscow Region is one of the largest in the country. It opened in 1992 to exhibit, study, and promote artistic creativity, including visual arts, music, poetry, and decorative and applied arts. Over its existence more than 500 exhibitions have been held here. The hall traditionally hosts creative report exhibitions by the Orekhovo-Zuyevo branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, solo shows by artists, and Orthodox-themed exhibitions. Special attention is given to children's creativity: exhibitions and competitions featuring students from children's art schools across the Moscow Region are held regularly. The displays are constantly updated, attracting the attention of residents and visitors. Artists working in various genres have studios here; concerts, creative meetings, and book and magazine presentations are also held. In addition, the hall runs a children's fine and applied arts studio called "Stupeni", whose students are regular participants and prize-winners in regional, All-Russian, and international competitions.
