About museum
The history of the Neftekamsk museum began in 1967. A small premises was allocated for the historical and local history museum on Yubileyny Prospekt. In 1991 it was granted city status. In 2007 a decision was made to allocate a new premises for the museum, and in 2008 it was opened to visitors. The museum has been headed by Kopieva Galina Grigoryevna since 2007. The total area of the building is 1,876.9 sq. m. It houses more than 13,000 items of material and spiritual culture. The museum has 5 exhibition halls and 2 display halls, where themed, solo and traveling exhibitions are periodically held. Modern design, a convenient location and a cozy lobby create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
