Its exhibits were designed and arranged by the well-known USSR exhibition designer G. V. Prikhodko and a team of researchers from the Arsenyev Primorsky State Museum. The museum's exhibition area is over 300 sq. m and is divided into five themed halls. Here you can see models of fishing vessels and gear, peasant household utensils, historical materials, documents and photographs. In 2006 the museum was awarded the honorary title "People's." The permanent exhibitions present archaeological excavations, the fauna of the southern seas, the first settlers from Estonia, military and labor glory, models of ships and shipboard equipment, and the history of the Soviet era.
