About museum
In the center of Nazarovo, on April 10, 1970, a state local history museum was opened; it was founded by Petr Vasilyevich Zarubkin, a World War II veteran and a history teacher at Secondary School No. 4. In 1990 the museum was recognized as state and received the status of a museum and exhibition center. It includes 2 folk ensembles, a history and local lore club, as well as the Nazarovo branch of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Club of the Russian Geographical Society. The museum holds 13,860 exhibits, of which 500 represent the work of the famous Soviet actress Marina Ladynina. Several permanent exhibitions are on display, and exhibitions of local artists and craftsmen change monthly. In addition, as part of the Marina Ladynina Film Forum there are creative meetings with contemporary film actors, as well as regional, all-Russian and international exhibitions.
