About museum
In December 1990 the Museum-Ethnographic and Ecological Park 'Yugra' was opened; it covers an area of 36 hectares and is located 42 km from the town of Megion. The park features 16 household and ritual buildings, as well as small architectural structures, the spring-fed Possen-Lor lake with a sandy beach, gazebos, holiday cottages and more. The park can be visited year-round for family and corporate recreation, and large-scale events for children are also held here, such as 'The Mystery of Possen-Lor Lake', 'Visiting Yahli-Iki', 'Crow Day' and 'Farewell of the Swan'. In addition, the park hosts the regional 'Khatlye' festival, the 'Ivan Kupala' festival and other events that have great social significance for the town and district.
